FAQ

WHEN, WHERE & WHAT TIME IS THE LANTERN FESTIVAL?

The Lantern Project will take place on the following date:

26th May (Pembrokeshire)

Please note that the exact location is yet to be confirmed. Early bird tickets are now available at a discounted price, so be sure to secure yours and prepare for a magical evening!

The event are from 7:30PM till 11:30PM. The lantern release is around 9:30PM. You will receive an email with the confirmation of the festival location once confirmed

ARE THE LANTERNS ENVIRONMENT AND ANIMAL FRIENDLY? WHAT ARE THEY MADE OF?

Certainly! Our lanterns are not only incredibly safe but also environmentally friendly, being 100% biodegradable. Crafted from rice paper, string, and bamboo, they stand apart from generic sky lanterns available online.

Free of any metal wire, our lanterns prioritize safety. The fire-resistant rice paper body prevents flames from spreading from the small fuel source suspended within. After the event, our diligent clean-up crew ensures all lanterns are collected within 24 hours and disposed of responsibly.

Equipped to handle any situation, they retrieve lanterns that may land in trees, and in rare cases, engage a tree service company for assistance.

WHAT IF THE EVENT IS POSTPONED?

WEATHER POLICY: Given that The Lantern Project is an outdoor event, we understand that inclement weather can sometimes occur.
Therefore, event dates and locations are subject to change. In the event of inclement weather leading to the cancellation of an event, the first available makeup date will typically be scheduled for the Sunday of the next weekend. If Sunday isn't feasible, the second backup date will be arranged within 90 days of the original event date. Please note that refunds are not provided when weather conditions necessitate rescheduling or relocating
an event. Instead, your tickets will remain valid for the first available makeup date that we organise. If a makeup date isn't scheduled within 90 days of the original event, refunds will be offered. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility regarding these circumstances.
